The top seeded Ohio State men's soccer continued their run through the Big Ten with a thrilling overtime victory over Penn State on Sunday night to advance to the Big Ten tournament semifinal, where they will host Rutgers.
This game was a stalemate when the whistle blew to end regulation, after neither team was able to put one in the back of the net during the first 90 minutes. Once overtime began, though, it didn't take long for the Buckeyes to earn the win. A mere three minutes after the extra period began, first team all-Big Ten defender Kyle Culbertson struck with his fifth goal of the season to hand the Buckeyes the victory.
