Pat Elflein decides to return for senior season

The versatile lineman announced his intention to come back to Columbus next year.

In the first of many probable announcements from Ohio State players regarding the NFL draft, the Buckeyes received some fantastic news today, as offensive lineman Pat Elflein announced via his Twitter that he will be sticking around as a member of 'The Slobs' for another season:

This is fantastic news for the Buckeyes on a couple of different fronts. With Elflein's return, they get back one of the best interior linemen in the country, who has the experience and capability to move to center next season, if need be. Secondly, it ensures that starting guard Billy Price won't be the lone returnee on next season's offensive line, as the Buckeyes are projected to have three new starters in 2016.

It will be interesting to see when, or if, other Ohio State underclassmen announce their intentions prior to The BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame, but regardless, Elflein's announcement is a big win for the Ohio State offense going into 2016.
