Bruce rocks Scarlet and Gray

When it comes to the wide receiver position in the 2016 recruiting class, most expect one of Donnie Corley or Binjimen Victor to be the prospect that pairs with Austin Mack in Columbus. However, one name that should not be forgotten is '16 WR Sam Bruce from St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida.

Ohio State has had some success as of late at the program with pickups of Damon Arnette, Joey Bosa, and his little brother Nick Bosa in this year's class. Surely they would gladly welcome Bruce, a Miami (FL) commit, to be another from the talented high school to play their college ball as a Buckeye.

With that being said, despite making an official visit to Columbus, it's widely expected that Bruce sticks with his Hurricanes pledge even after many top programs made a push for the 5'8, 180-pounder. It was certainly interesting however to see that Bruce was rocking a nice Ohio State beanie at the Under Armour All-American festivities on Wednesday.

Whether this is just Bruce trying to stir things up a bit or if he's actually dropping a hint on where his recruitment is headed remains to be seen.

Bosa honored by USA Today

Yesterday, USA Today dropped their First Team All-State rankings for Florida and one Buckeye commitment that was mentioned earlier was included in the group. Despite suffering a season-ending ACL injury and not being able to finish out his senior season, '16 DE Nick Bosa was recognized as the best of the best by USA Today.

Bosa is of course the big piece of the Buckeye class and is graded out as a five-star across the board. Some even project the younger Bosa to be more impressive than his big brother Joey, who is likely a top five pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
