Last week at this time, we were watching another Urban Meyer classic finish on the recruiting trail as he was able to yet again work his magic and bring in another ace class for the Buckeyes. Well, this week hasn't been quite as exciting as last, but it's never too early to look ahead at some potential Ohio State signees that could happen down the road.
Warren high on OSU
Ohio State has caught the attention of 2017 in-state running back Michael Warren. Warren has visited Columbus in the past and coach Urban Meyer paid him a visit in late January. Hailing from Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Warren already holds offers from Iowa and Toledo, but that number is sure to jump up after his junior season next fall. Warren stands at 5'10, 185 pounds and it's likely we see those measurements shoot up as well. Warren is poised to be one of the best from Ohio when his senior year rolls around and looks like a prospect Ohio State will stay on top of throughout his process. As mentioned before, Warren has already been on campus, but reiterated that he'd like to visit again in the future. There seems to be solid mutual interest between both parties at this time.

Giddens shines at Nike event
To the hardwood, current Ohio State commit Daniel Giddens was at the Nike Extravaganza showcase and took center stage on Tuesday. Giddens, a center who stands at 6'10, will have a shot to compete for playing time right away when next season rolls around. Thad Matta was able to go down south to Giddens' home state of Georgia and steal him away from programs such as Florida, UGA, Arkansas and even Arizona. He has elite athletic ability that he put on display with some of these highlights from his first day at the Nike event.
Iverson still an OSU target
Class of 2015 target Khalil Iverson had a huge game on Tuesday night, scoring 17 points to go along with 16 rebounds. Iverson, who has yet to earn an Ohio State offer, is expected to be in Columbus today, according to his 247Sports profile. An Ohio native, Iverson checks in at 6'5 at the small forward position and is being heavily pursued by Wisconsin and West Virginia. If Ohio State sees Iverson as a real possibility, the Bucks will have to make a move soon, as 2015 classes are quickly being filled up.
Khalil Iverson goes for 17 points, 16 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks to lead Delaware over Mount Vernon, 67-42. Pretty solid game for him
