With summer just an arm's length away, the summer camp circuit will be starting up. Ohio State already holds onto one of the best classes in the country and have secured 15 spots for the class of 2016. It's only May and way over half of the class has been assembled. This isn't the norm for Buckeye Nation. Still, the Buckeyes are in on some "locks" but as we know, like every year, more and more names will pop up.
Dioubate likes OSU
According to reports, Ohio State has caught the attention of defensive tackle Karamo Dioubate. Dioubate, part of the class of 2016, is currently rated a four-star prospect and a top 300 player. A Pennsylvania native, Dioubate checks in at 6'3 and 279 pounds, and will likely continue to add size and strength when he arrives on a college campus. Coaches Ed Warinner and Larry Johnson have taken the lead on this recruitment. With Johnson being a master recruiter on the East Coast, the Buckeyes are in a prime position to make a move. Dioubate holds 19 total offers, including one from Ohio State. He was in Columbus in early April and since then Coach Johnson has visited him at his school. There is mutual interest in this one and this recruitment is worth keeping an eye on as we enter his senior season.
4-star Karamo Dioubate is definitely in the #OhioState defensive tackle mix http://t.co/uZp9R0tUOQ

Coombs checks out Florida
Ohio State coach Kerry Coombs spent Tuesday at Trinity Christian High School in Florida watching their practice. As you know, current 2017 commit Shaun Wade attends Trinity Christian and he's already considered one of the best players in his class. It will be important for the Buckeyes to keep all lines of communication open with him. Trinity Christian consistently produces some of the best high school talent in the country. It's not a bad idea for Urban to send his staff down there.

LeCounte still high on Bucks
2017 athlete Richard LeCounte is an Ohio State target and has spoken highly of the Buckeyes in the past. LeCounte, who stands at 5'11 and weighs in at 175 pounds, can line up on either side of the ball and be an instant star. The sophomore holds 18 offers as of now and has a summer visit lined up to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have done very well in the Peach State, but will have to battle the Bulldogs to land a commitment. Ohio State is a serious player here and this is one to watch over the next year. LeCounte had some interesting cleats on at practice earlier this week.
