Urban Meyer and the Ohio State coaching have worked their magic once again. After visiting OSU not too long ago, class of 2016 defensive back, and one time Virginia Tech pledge Kareem Felder has announced his verbal commitment to the Buckeyes.
A three-star recruit from St. Frances Academy in Washington, D.C., Felder is considered the 104th cornerback, and 1,047th overall prospect in the 2016 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Once again on their way to a top teir recruiting class, the 5'11, 165-pound shutdown cornerback gives the Buckeyes 13 class of 2016 commitments at the moment.
A bit of an underrated recruit, Felder held offers from not just Ohio State, and Virginia Tech, but also programs such as Clemson, Miami, Nebraska, Iowa, Boston College, North Carolina, Rutgers, and West Virginia.
With the Buckeyes looking to add much needed secondary depth, Felder has the kind of skill set that should help him snatch up early playing time during his career at Ohio State.
