Michael Jordan commits to Ohio State: Buckeyes land tackle recruit

Despite being pegged to be a possible Michigan get by many, Ohio State continued their 2016 recruiting momentum in landing a big-time four-star talent.

Michael Jordan, a 247Sports Composite Rankings four-star offensive tackle from the Canton, MI area, gave his pledge to Urban Meyer and the defending national champions on Thursday, adding to an already loaded 2016 recruiting class.

The 6'6, 285 pound Jordan is ranked as the number 16 tackle in the composite rankings, the third best player from the state of Michigan, and the 156th best player overall in his recruiting class. This represents another big win for Meyer and his staff.

Kerry Coombs, Jordan's principle recruiter for the Buckeyes, first tipped his hand as to the commitment hours before word formally got out:
