The Buckeyes are on to the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

After falling behind early, the Ohio State men's lacrosse team took it upon themselves heading into the second quarter to make a statement.

45 minutes of game time later, the Buckeyes were triumphant over the two-time defending national champion Duke Blue Devils en route to a huge win that sees them through to the next round of the 2015 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, though not without having to endure a valiant comeback attempt by a very game, experienced Blue Devils side.

David Planning led the way for the Bucks with a double hat trick and huge plays all night long.

Though stunning Duke is nearly as good as the Bucks' sneaking into the inaugural Big Ten lacrosse championship game, their tallest task looms ominously. Ohio State will most likely take on fourth seeded Denver in Denver at altitude. The second round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament is set for either May 16 or May 17 at a time to be determined.

Go Bucks.
