A fairly quiet Monday for Ohio State still ended with some good news for the Buckeyes as they try to continue their impressive accomplishments in the recruiting field. A national championship can do wonders for a team looking to persuade athletes to join their ranks. As if Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer wasn't already a masterful recruiter, now he has a national championship ring as a trump card.

So it's no surprise that recruits that have visited in the past remain interested in the Buckeyes, and might even have their interest levels increased with each visit they take. That seems to be the case for a pair of 2017 recruits, at the very least.

'17 safety Isaiah Pryor checks in at 6'2, 190-pounds, and made his third visit to Columbus this past weekend with his father, per 247Sports. The five-star prospect is ranked as the second-best safety in the country, second-best player at any position from Georgia, and 27th best prospect in the nation as well. After making a trip his freshman year and later on with his family, Pryor's third trip might have helped solidify a potential fourth visit to Columbus as well. With the season approaching, Pryor mentions that he'll likely use an official visit on Ohio State as well.

Pryor holds offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Stanford among many of the other top competing schools in the country.

Pryor's current 247Sports Crystal Ball has Notre Dame as an early favorite to land a talented player such as Pryor, but there is still  a chance for Ohio State to somehow sneak in, especially with Meyer on their side:

The other recruit was '17 wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who stands 6'1, 170-pounds. The four-star is ranked as the nation's 27th best receiver and 21st best player from the state of Florida. While all of that may not impress you, it does seem that his stock is quickly on the rise as offers start to pile in from teams and he'll be one to watch for whoever he lands with.

Jeudy holds offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Miami, N.C. State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. As it stands right now, with only one prediction in place, Jeudy appears headed for Miami, keeping him in-state as well.
