Five-star DT sets weekend visit
This weekend, Ohio State will be playing host to one of the top players in the country. Yesterday, '16 DT Rashard Lawrence of Neville (LA) announced on his Twitter that he would be spending the upcoming weekend in Columbus to visit the Buckeyes' campus and coaching staff.

Lawrence is a 6'3, 305-pounder and one of the best defensive tackle prospects in the whole 2016 recruiting class. The Monroe (LA) native is a five-star player in the 247Sports Composite scale and one the Buckeyes would love to add to the fold. With that being said, the 247Sports Crystal Ball predicts the No. 6 defensive tackle to stay at home and suit up for the LSU Tigers. All in all, when you get a prospect on campus, you have an opportunity to make a big impression and we will see if Ohio State can at the very least give Lawrence something to think about.
The visit of Lawrence comes on the heels of '16 DT Antwuan Jackson having his trip to see the Buckeye campus conclude. As of today, Jackson is one of the bigger Ohio State targets on the board and he seemed to enjoy his stop in the 614.

2016 Allen (TX) CB in Columbus
It was a little over two weeks ago when '16 CB Jaylon Jones announced his six top schools in his recruitment. It was a list that included Auburn, Ohio State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A&M, and USC. Now, it's time for the four-star defensive back to take some visits to attempt to narrow that group down.
According to Bucknuts.com, the 5'11, 182-pounder was scheduled to be en route to Columbus early on Wednesday. If all went as planned, it'll give the Buckeyes a chance to claw their way to the top of Jones' list as they try to find a cornerback-mate to pair with '16 CB Kareem Felder in the class.
FAU/OSU Satellite Camp
The big event on Wednesday was when Ohio State coaches were down in Boca Raton, Florida to take part in Florida Atlantic's satellite camp. The camp was littered with prospects, as about 400 sttudent-athletes were reportedly in attendance.
The camp was a way for the Buckeye coaching staff to check out plenty of prospects, as well as strengthen relationships with others. Two Ohio State commits were in attendance on Wednesday with the staff. '16 DT Malik Barrow and '17 ATH Bruce Judson were spotted.
Along with the two pledges were potentially two soon-to-be commitments: '16 DE Nick Bosa and '17 WR Trevon Grimes, who very likely could be the two top Buckeye targets for their respective class. Urban Meyer himself was pictured talking to both players individually which could never be a bad thing. It's also likely not a bad thing that both five-star players were seen throwing up an Ohio State "O" prior to the camp starting.
