Urban Meyer's first book is set to come out this fall

The return of college football won't be the only think Buckeye fans have to look forward to this fall. Urban Meyer has announced plans to release his first book, Above The Line: Lessons in Leadership from a Championship Season, will hit shelves October 27th.

Per Penguin Press, the book will touch on Meyer's two championship seasons at Florida but still focus primarily on the Buckeyes unexpected run to the first ever College Football Playoff title. Meyer echoed that in the press release.

"The time was right for this book. Last season’s Ohio State team was so inspiring to me, especially in the way it handled adversity, that I truly believed it offered lessons that could have value to a wider audience."

New York Daily News writer Wayne Coffey penned the book with Meyer, who will of course be making his first foray into the book world after his third title. It's, of course, not uncommon for college coaches to pen a book while still actively coaching. Nick Saban wrote his first book after his 2003 BCS title at LSU.
