The Ohio State coaching staff didn't just have a large group of prospects showing off their talents trying to earn a scholarship offer on Friday, they also played host to many of their verbal commitments and top targets.

Future Buckeye running back Kareem Walker, quarterback Tristen Wallace, offensive guard Tyler Gerald (2017), and recruits such as 2016 defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence, athlete Ahmir Mitchell, and 2017 defensive back Jeffrey Okudah were just a few of the recruits in Columbus to see what the national champions had to offer.

Lawrence, a 6'3, 305-pound, five-star prospect from Monroe, Louisiana, finally made it up to Ohio State after receiving his offer from the OSU staff this winter. One of the most sought-after prospects in the country, the Buckeyes are hoping his time in Columbus sky rockets them up his list.  With well over 20 scholarship offers under his belt, Alabama and LSU are currently looked as the teams to beat for Lawrence's services.

Just over a month after adding a scholarship from Ohio State to his list, four-star safety Jeffery Okudah attended camp at OSU. With still more than two years away from suiting up on the college level, the five-star defensive back isn't just wanted by the Buckeyes, but also programs such as Baylor, Alabama, and Auburn.

While his OSU recruitment is just starting, the 6'1, 195-pound Texas native seemed to have a great time in Columbus, tweeting the following:

Lawrence and Okudah might be new to some, but Ahmir Mitchell is a name that most Ohio State fans should be well aware of. Making numerous stops to the OSU campus, Mitchell was once thought as an OSU lean, but now seems to be learning towards Michigan.

Ohio State wasn't the only Midwest stop the four-star New Jersey standout made over the weekend, as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish also had him stop by their campus for a visit.

The Buckeyes, Wolverines, and Irish have all offered the 6'3, 205-pound Mitchell a scholarship.

Ohio State offered massive five-star offensive tackle Willie Allen over the weekend. Hailing from John Curtis High in New Orleans, the same program that produced former OSU and NFL running back Jonathan Wells, Allen is the latest prospect from the powerhouse program that will play on the college level.

The third offensive tackle and 23rd-overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, the 6'7, 300-pound standout holds scholarship offers from schools across the country. The latest program to join the party, Ohio State adds their name alongside the likes of Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and Miami, to name a few.
