It has been made apparent that 2017 wide receiver Emmanuel Greene will be visiting Ohio State this weekend. Greene, who attends the IMG Academy in Florida, is one of the most sought-after receiver prospects in his class. He holds 17 total offers as we stand right now, but that number will continue to skyrocket once he hits the summer camp circuit this year. Greene stands 5'10 and checks in at about 170 pounds, but his skill set fits this Ohio State offense as well as anyone who's been part of the Urban Meyer reign the last few seasons. He's explosive and can be lined up anywhere and is also a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. In the past, he's always had kind words to say when it came to Ohio State and it could be said that the Buckeyes are the favorite at this point. Coach Zach Smith has taken the lead in this one and he hasn't disappointed, putting the Bucks in a legitimate position to grab one of Florida's finest. The Florida State Seminoles are also actively pursuing Greene, but it may not be enough to top the Bucks. Greene is expected to arrive in Columbus today and there's a sense that a verbal commitment could be made during his time on campus. This is for sure one to watch over the next several days.

Ohio State battles Michigan for WR talent

Ohio State is also actively in pursuit of 2017 wide receiver Daquon Green from Tampa, who has been to Columbus multiple times the last several years. However, in this one, it appears it's going to be a battle between the Buckeyes and Wolverines to land the services of this four-star prospect. Green has blown up as of late, reeling in 10+ offers from the month of May and solidifying himself as one of the top receivers in the country. There isn't a decision date in sight, but it's awfully fun to think that the Buckeyes could be sitting in the driver's seat for two of the best skill guys in the state of Florida. Time will tell, as can hold true for all recruiting stories, but it's shaping up to be a Harbaugh-Meyer battle for this one.

Earlier this month Ohio State held a satellite camp with host FAU in Florida. Numerous Ohio State commitments attended and competed in the camp. 2017 athletes Bruce Judson and Trevon Grimes each had themselves good days while competing against some of the top athletes in the state. Target Daquon Green, see above, was also in attendance getting coached by Ohio State's finest. Check out the action from the camp below.
