Blake Haubeil commits to Ohio State

As first reported by Bucknuts' Bill Kurelic, the Buckeyes landed their second commit of Friday Night Lights 2015 from an improbable place.

Urban Meyer's Bucks welcomed New York state product kicker Blake Haubeil, a 2017 recruit, as their newest 2017 commitment in the hours after the camp. Bucknuts reported Haubeil kicked for Meyer during the event.

As is often times the case with kickers, Haubeil doesn't register in the 247Sports Composite rankings due to a lack of evaluations. If his leg was live enough to merit a committable offer though, you have to think the Buckeyes are getting a pretty good one. For what it's worth, Kohl's Kicking Professional Camps grades Haubeil as the third best kicker in the '17 class.
