Braxton Miller's new position means lower Heisman Trophy odds

Though NFL scouts dig it, oddsmakers aren't exactly in love with Braxton's new position.

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

After the news that he would be switching to H-back, Braxton Miller saw his Heisman odds fall from 10/1, to 20/1, per Bovada.

TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin remains the favorite at 9/2, while Ezekiel Elliott comes in second at 7/1. J.T. Barrett moved his way up up from 25/1, to third place at 7/1. The odds are naturally expected to continue to change up until the first week of the college football season.

Elliott's status at 7/1 is likely to show the least movement, but after Urban Meyer names a starter is when we may see more changes in these odds. Cardale Jones currently sits at 16/1.
