Kosta Koufos to sign with Sacramento Kings, per report

Former Buckeye Kosta Koufos has reportedly agreed to sign with the Sacramento Kings

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Kosta Koufos has agreed to a 4-year deal worth $33 million with the Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN's Marc Stein:

Koufos, who averaged 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last season for the Memphis Grizzlies, heads to a Kings team that has been in the news of late. There had been rumors that DeMarcus Cousins would be traded, followed by rumors that the team may be looking to replace head coach George Karl because of his reported inability to get along with Cousins.

The Kings have recently acquired guard Rajon Rondo, and sharpshooter Marco Belinelli, after trading Nik Stauskas to the 76ers to free up cap space in hopes of signing (at the time) Wesley Matthews and Monta Ellis. Koufos will fit in nicely next to Cousins, unless the team does ultimately decide to move on without him.
