Bryce Harper took in Ohio State's win over Notre Dame, rocked an Ezekiel Elliott jersey afterwards

The NL MVP is Ohio State football's newest fan.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had quite the impressive 44-28 win over Notre Dame Friday afternoon in the Fiesta Bowl, and they appear to have gained a new fan in the process.

Bryce Harper, Major League Baseball's 2012 National League Rookie of the Year and 2015 National League MVP posted the following photo on Instagram after the definitive Ohio State victory:

The caption to Harper's photo read:

Thinking about trying out next year, thanks to Coach Urban Meyer for the jersey today! Was a great win by the Buckeyes #FiestaBowl #gobucks

Harper was likely at the game because Kayla Varner, Harper's girlfriend, is a former Ohio State women's soccer player.

Surely Harper, someone who is highly regarded in his own sport, would be more than welcomed to the Ohio State family. He, like the Buckeyes, knows a thing or two about success, and he was able to witness it first-hand on Friday afternoon.
