2014-15 NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year is returning stateside.
After a sojourn to play professionally in Hungary, according to Yahoo!'s Marc Spears, Craft is returning to the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors' D-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. Per Spears, Craft replaces Elliott Williams, who was recently called up to the NBA by the Memphis Grizzlies.
Craft has 50 D-League games to his name. In the NBA's minor league, Craft's averaged 9.2 points per game to go along with 6.2 assists and 2.5 steals per contest. All the while fortifying his relationship as one of the toughest to play against defenders in the league.
Though a call up to the NBA level remains difficult if Craft doesn't show more improvement in the offensive end of his game, he'll get a chance to play professionally back in the United States. All of the Santa Cruz Warriors' games are streamed live on YouTube. You can check out their full schedule here.
