Ohio State still No. 2 in latest College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings

New week, same rank.

NCAA Football: Michigan at Ohio State Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

This is what everybody has been waiting for. The Ohio State Buckeyes are coming off of an amazing 30-27 victory over the Michigan Wolverines in Columbus, a double-overtime thriller. The win allowed the Buckeyes to hold onto their No. 2 ranking in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

Alabama, per usual, remained at No. 1 after remaining undefeated with their victory in the Iron Bowl over Auburn.

The Buckeyes have done all they can do, and will now have to wait for conference championship games to take place, but they appear to have done a good job in putting themselves in the best position possible considering the circumstances.
