A year after leading Ohio State in sacks but not getting the glory due to a stud named Joey Bosa, Tyquan Lewis is finally getting his name in the lights.
The Rushmen’s leader by example on the field was named the Big Ten’s 2016 Smith-Brown Defensive Lineman of the Year on Tuesday, ascending to an echelon of all-time great B1G linemen.
The North Carolina product’s added 7.5 sacks to a stellar 2015 and continues to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks game in-game out.
With a potential move to the pros on the horizon after Lewis and the Buckeyes’ run is finally over, the best may be yet to come for the stellar defensive lineman.
Congrats to Lewis on a phenomenal season (and career) with Ohio State.
