The NFL Combine will see upwards of 300 of the nation's best draft-eligible college football players making their way to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the most important four day workout of their career. Ohio State will have 14 representatives at this year's event, for their chance to show off in front of scouts from all 32 pro teams.
The Buckeyes led all colleges and universities with the most players invited to this year's combine. Notre Dame, OSU's opponent in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, were next closest with 10, while UCLA and defending national champion Alabama each had 9.

Participants will spend their time in Indy talking to the media and to teams, they'll get measured along with a complete medical workup including X-rays, undergo psychological testing, meet with the NFLPA, and then start their workouts. They'll test their strength at the bench press, line up for the 40-yard dash, along with a host of position and skill drills.
This year's combine requires players to undergo a background check in advance; failure to do so, or should they find any domestic violence or sexual assault conviction, will result in the player's disqualification from all "league-related events," -- including the Draft in April. It was noted in the memo released by the NFL, however, that those players barred from the combine will still be able to work out and interview with clubs on an individual basis with no restrictions.
This wont be these NFL hopefuls last shot at impressing the scouts, they'll have the option of performing again at Ohio State's Pro Day in March, for their final chance to make a statement ahead of the Draft. Players often opt out of the Pro Day workouts if they're satisfied with their times and showing at the combine.
Last year, only four Buckeyes made the trip to Indianapolis, but there will be a lot more former Ohio State players to keep an eye on Feb. 23-29, 2016.
