Watch D'Angelo Russell say he has ice in his veins after hitting a clutch 3

Get buckets, young Buck.

For whatever reason, it took potentially lame duck Lakers coach Byron Scott two-thirds of the season to see the light and finally start playing former Ohio State standout (and No. 2 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft), D'Angelo Russell.

Russell made that decision pay off Tuesday night.

In a matchup of 17-43 and 11-49 teams, with just over 30 seconds to go, Russell did his best Steph Curry impersonation and pulled up without conscious beyond the top of the key to hit an extremely clutch late three pointer.

While making his way back up the court, Russell told anyone that would listen, "ice in my veins. Ice in my veins."

Take a look at the former Buckeye star's hero act for yourself:

Russell would go on to finish with 39 points in 35 minutes played.

May this be the first of many game deciding shots for the rising star.
