The Ohio State Buckeyes will be taking the field for the first time since their overwhelming victory over Notre Dame in January's Fiesta Bowl. The Buckeyes finished their 2015 campaign strong, and while it didn't end in the national championship that everybody had hoped, it was still a fun season.
This year, the Buckeyes look plenty different, and today is the first day we really get to see these guys in action. There will be plenty of position battles, and guys making names for themselves as the crop of 2016 Buckeyes takes its final form before we kickoff the season in August.
The Scarlet team will be led by new co-defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, assisted by Ed Warinner and Tim Beck, who will be commanding the first-team offense team. The Gray team will be led by Tony Alford, running backs coach, and will be assisted by Luke Fickell, Greg Studrawa, Kerry Coombs, and Zach Smith. Their team will be the first-team defense.
So take your pick, whether it be Scarlet or Gray, and join us in the comments as we enjoy our first taste of football in over four months.
