Prospective third string quarterback and well regarded locker room presence Stephen Collier is out for the year, according to a report by Eleven Warriors.
Though Collier had seemed some distance behind redshirt freshman Joe Burrow in the race to be J.T. Barrett's principal backup, he's a well renown "glue guy" and someone his teammates and coaches alike hold in very high regards.
According to 11W, Collier suffered an apparent ACL injury during OSU's spring game. Collier saw extended action during the exhibition.
Many suspected something was potentially up after Collier started tweeting the kind of things we're accustomed to seeing from athletes after they've suffered a physical setback early this morning and late last night:
Time to make it shake. God got me.

Just gotta trust Him even though I can't see the plan. This is tough.

Best of luck to Collier during his rehabilitation.
