Back when the season first started, Ohio State—as well as the rest of the Big Ten schools—got a really cool hype commercial, courtesy of Fox Sports.
Now, as we roll into rivalry week, a new hype commercial has been released for ‘The Game’.
Featuring Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh, and a cacophony of short video snippets, we get a glimpse of the commercial’s theme of “complicated.” This commercial is an extension of the “Every Game Is Everything” theme that Fox Sports has used this season to promote their slate of college football games. Wieden+Kennedy are the brains behind this campaign.
Like the prior commercials in this advertising campaign, Michael Kelly is the narrator. Kelly is best known for his role as Doug Stamper on House of Cards; on the movie screen, he’s had notable roles in Changeling, The Adjustment Bureau, and Dawn of the Dead.

Ohio State battles Michigan in the 114th edition of the rivalry on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET, with Fox broadcasting the game.
