Ohio State already added a blue-chip BOOM before today’s Spring Game. And now, they’ve added another one.
2018 four-star safety Josh Proctor, out of Owasso, Oklahoma, tweeted that he has committed to Ohio State:

The 6’2, 190-pound Proctor is currently ranked as the seventh best safety in the country, the second best player from Oklahoma, and the 87th top recruit in the entire country. He picked Ohio State over Oklahoma, along with offers from Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, and others.
Proctor gives Ohio State their seventh commitment for the 2018 class, all ranked as blue-chip players at the moment. If this continues, the Buckeyes will be able to make a run at the top ranked class at not just in the Big Ten, but the country.
Ohio State had a massive recruiting class in 2017 for their defensive backfield, but given the rate that the Buckeyes are sending players to the NFL there, it should be another point of emphasis in the 2018 recruiting class.
