Buckeyes searching in the Bluegrass State
Stephen Herron (Louisville, KY / Trinity) will be back in Columbus this coming weekend. Herron last visited when Ohio State hosted Nebraska back in November. This visit is telling for Herron as he’s making yet another trip to Columbus on his own dime. Herron is a class of 2019 defensive end who will end up being one of the highest regarded players in the country when his senior season rolls around. He has not yet been evaluated by all the major recruiting sites, however, according to 247Sports, Herron is a four-star prospect and the No. 15 overall player in his class. Herron does hold offers from Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee. The Buckeyes are considered the leader in this race and will look to widen the gap even more after the weekend. Herron attends state power Trinity High School in Kentucky.

Staying in the Bluegrass State, the Buckeyes offered 2019 offensive lineman Bryan Hudson on Tuesday morning. Hudson, listed at 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, is a four-star prospect and a top 100 player, according to 247Sports. Hudson has recently started to see his recruitment blow up as he picked up an offer from Alabama on Monday as well. He sits at a total of seven offers.
It's amazing how great god is. I'm so blessed to have received an offer from The Ohio State University!!! pic.twitter.com/yztZHJwtzb

This will be a tough pull as Hudson has built up a good relationship with coach John Schlarman of Kentucky. However, as we head into the coming months, the lure of big programs might be enough to broaden his horizon. Ohio State is in the race early —and they’ll try and get Hudson back on campus sometime this summer.
Emory Jones is ‘110 percent’
Recently, Emory Jones has been visiting college campuses and enjoying the process of college football recruiting. With talk heating up that other schools are making up ground for the highly rated quarterback.
Jones put an end to those false accusations.
