Chris Holtmann has his job cut out for him rebuilding Ohio State basketball, but the biggest challenge at first is going to be rebuilding the roster. Right, the Buckeyes don’t have the depth, or even the dang bodies, to compete in the upper half of the Big Ten right now. Recruiting is going to be critical.

But what prospects are at the top of Ohio State’s radar? What position groups are the most important? Who does Holtmann already have relationships with?

To get the answers, we chatted with an old friend, Zach Fleer, the owner of 270Hoops, and perhaps the biggest expert on Ohio high school hoops, and especially Columbus-area high school hoops, to get the straight dope on what needs to happen next for the Buckeyes.

I felt a lot more excited about talking to Zach. I think you will too.
