After searching the recruiting trail for another soon-to-be senior running back to add alongside Brian Snead, and Jaelen Gill, who could see more time at H-Back, Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes have finally found their man.

Committing to Ohio State over programs such as Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee nearly 48 hours after earning his offer from Meyer and crew in person at Friday’s camp, three-star prospect Master Teague is now a future Buckeye after announcing his college plans via his Twitter page.

A big time playmaker with the ball in his hands, Teague might be considered the 25th running back, and 501st prospect in the country right now, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but watch his rankings skyrocket up the charts in the very near future.

While he isn’t a five-star rated recruit, Teague’s a powerful running back, who isn’t afraid of contact from defenders and has shown the ability to put points on the board in bunches.

As a junior at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the now 13th member of the Buckeyes 2018 recruiting class, was a force in the backfield for the Blaze. Toting the rock 242 times, the 5-foot-10 210-pounder accounted for over 2,000 rushing yards and 24 trips to the end zone last season.

Still chasing Miami for the top overall spot in the 2018 class rankings, Teague is already helping the Buckeyes. After recently jumping fellow Big Ten program Penn State for the second position, Ohio State is now even closer to snatching number one away from the Hurricanes.

Keep your eyes peeled as the Land-Grant Holy Land team will have more on Master Teague, and what his commitment means for the Buckeyes.
