Slade, a product of Montclair, N.J., was coming off a leg injury that kept him sidelined last season. Before the injury, Slade played sparingly in the 2015 campaign in games against Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Michigan. Arizona State is seen as a probable landing spot for Slade, according to coach Meyer and reports.
A member of the 2014 recruiting class, Slade entered Ohio State graded as a three-star product.
