The Ohio State Buckeyes-Oklahoma Sooners matchup already was going to be a big game. Now, the game got a little bit bigger. ESPN College Gameday will be live from Columbus, Ohio next Saturday. The announcement was made on Twitter.

This will be the 40th time OSU has been part of a College Gameday broadcast location, and the 16th time the Buckeyes have played host for Gameday, according to an OSU spokesperson.

Ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll, the Buckeyes are 1-0 after a breakout performance from freshman running back J.K. Dobbins in the season opener against Indiana. Dobbins rushed for an OSU freshman debut record of 181 yards.

No. 7 Oklahoma is also 1-0 after their runaway victory against UTEP, 56-7, on Saturday. In that game, Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 16-straight passes, and ended the game with 19-of-20 passes completed for 329 yards and three touchdowns.

Ohio State-Oklahoma will kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on ABC.
