The new Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann has been embracing every moment he can as a Buckeye. From taking recruits to Saturday night football games to now throwing out the first pitch for the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday against St. Louis at 7:10 p.m. ET.

He will be the latest in a long list of Buckeye athletes and coaches to take the mound at the Great American Ballpark for the ceremonial honor. Football coach Urban Meyer threw out the first pitch for the Reds just months after winning the 2014 National Championship, and players like Braxton Miller and Curtis Samuel have enjoyed the honor as well.
