Kyler Murray jumps Dwayne Haskins in Heisman odds; Ohio State sees dip in national title odds

On the bright side: Haskins’ odds increased, and he holds the third best odds. Also, the top four teams with the best CFP title odds all saw dips.

As we still recover from the Ohio State Buckeyes’ comeback win on the road against Penn State, fresh Heisman and national title odds have been released by Bovada. While quarterback Dwayne Haskins saw his Heisman odds improve, he was jumped by Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray. On Monday afternoon, Haskins had 15-to-4 odds for the Heisman; Murray, who was an 8-to-1 favorite last week, now stands in the No. 2 spot with 7-to-2 odds. Once again, Alabama signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa is still the big favorite, holding impressive 10-to-11 odds.

Haskins isn’t the only Buckeye that the sportsbook has a Heisman hopeful. J.K. Dobbins is still on the board— but he’s at a very distant 200-to-1.

In the hunt for the national title, Bovada’s top four favorites (Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Georgia) all saw minor dips. OSU is tied with Clemson for the second best odds in the land, coming in at 11-to-2. The reigning national champions, Alabama, are still at the top of the table with 4-to-5 odds. And if you’re wondering about Penn State, they entered last week with 26-to-1 odds, but the loss has set them back to 50-to-1.

Below is a table of teams with the 10 best odds.
