Drew Bledsoe, ESPN “GameDay” crew pick Ohio State-Purdue game, more

“Closer than the experts expect.”

ESPN

For the first time in the glorious history of ESPN’s “College GameDay” the show was broadcast from Pullman, Wash., on Saturday morning, the home of the No. 25 Washington State Cougars, ahead of the visit by the No. 12 Oregon Ducks. The “GameDay” appearance was a culmination of 15 years of dedication that featured Wazzu’s “OI’ Crimson” flag.

The scene in Pullman was exciting, but never more so than when former Cougar quarterback Drew Bledsoe joined the dais to make some picks for the day’s biggest games. Obviously, he went with his alma mater, but that was not the consensus opinion on the set.

In addition to the top-25 Pac-12 matchup, the crew picked a handful of other high-profile action, including the noon ET game between the No. 6 Michigan Wolverines and “Little Brother” No. 24 Michigan State Spartans and the ABC primetime matchup between the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and the Purdue Boilermakers.
