Another Ohio State Buckeyes game time has been announced, and if you’re a fan of night time kickoffs, you’re in luck. The Oct. 20 meeting between Ohio State-Purdue has been scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. ET, with ABC broadcasting the game.
Right here right now and first: Ohio State vs. Purdue on Oct. 20 will be at 7:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.

Primetime games have come often for Buckeyes this season, but none of them have taken place at home. This will be the third night game of the season for OSU, and, once again, is another game that has the Bucks on “upset alert.” Traveling to Ross-Ade Stadium has proved problematic in the past. In 2009, then-head coach Jim Tressel had Ohio State at No. 7 in the polls before stumbling to the Boilermakers.
The last time OSU travelled to West Lafayette, Ind., for a game was in 2013. That game wasn’t close, as the Buckeyes ran away with a 56-0 win. During the unbeaten season of 2012, Urban Meyer’s first season, the Boilermakers nearly defeated the Buckeyes in Columbus. However, the heroics of then-quarterback Kenny Guiton helped the Scarlet and Gray to an overtime victory.
Road contests are never something to take for granted. With this being a late October game, and under the lights, this has the makings of being a trap game for Ohio State.
