The No. 10 Ohio State Buckeyes may have gotten their eighth win of the season on Saturday in a 36-31 win over Nebraska, but their national title odds took a dive. On Monday morning, Bovada listed the Scarlet and Gray at 20-to-1 odds at winning the College Football Playoff national championship, which is a fall from last week’s odds of 12-to-1. Those odds for the Buckeyes are tied with Georgia for fifth-best.
Alabama still leads with the best odds at 5-to-13, which were an increase from 1-to-2 last Monday. Those odds reflect the Crimson Tide’s annihilation of LSU—one of their last major roadblocks before the SEC Championship Game. Clemson’s odds stayed the same at 5-to-1, while Notre Dame (11/2) and Michigan (13/2) saw their chances creep upwards.
Only 11 programs have odds listings at this point in the season. You can see all of them below.

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins also saw his Heisman odds drop in the eyes of the sportsbook. While Haskins still has the third best odds of winning the coveted trophy, he’s fallen from a 9-to-1 chance to 14-to-1. If there’s a silver lining, all other Heisman favorites fell too, except for the current frontrunner Tua Tagovailoa. The Crimson Tide quarterback’s performance against LSU on the road not only pushed him out further into the lead at 1-to-10, but brought everyone else down.
