How many other good players are just sitting on the bench right now?

Brendon White’s performance against Nebraska was eye-opening for a few different reasons.

Brendon White’s breakout game left us all asking one question:

Why hasn’t this guy been playing?

After Jordan Fuller’s second quarter ejection for targeting, White came on to lead Ohio State with 13 tackles (two TFL’s) and immediately looked like one of the best players — if not the best — on the defense. For a secondary that’s been starving for good play this season, why did it take Fuller’s ejection for him to see the field?

On this episode of the Hangout in the Holy Land, Patrick Mayhorn and I talk about White’s breakout game, Ohio State’s narrow win over Nebraska, and wonder if any other really good players are just sitting on the bench right now.
