After a narrow win at home against Nebraska, the Ohio State Buckeyes appeared at No. 10 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. The close 36-31 win at home against the Cornhuskers didn’t push the Buckeyes down since last week’s rankings (they were also No. 10), but it makes them the lowest ranked one-loss Power 5 team. This weekend, the Buckeyes will travel to face Michigan State, who appeared at No. 18 in this week’s playoff rankings.
Alabama is still the No. 1 team in latest CFP poll, with Clemson behind them at No. 2. Notre Dame slid into the No. 3 spot following the LSU loss, and Michigan rolled into the No. 4 position. The first two out feature Georgia is at No. 5 and Oklahoma at No. 6.
One of the surprises from this week’s unveiling is that LSU, who is quarterbacked by former Buckeye Joe Burrow, dropped from No. 3 to No. 7 after getting shutout at home by Alabama. The Tigers have two losses, and are in front of Washington State and West Virginia.
Below is the full playoff rankings going into Week 11.
