Podcast: Ohio State records will likely fall in a make-or-break game

In the latest “Why is this News?” edition of the “Hangout in the Holy Land” podcast, co-hosts Matt Tamanini and Alexis Chassen catch up on all of the biggest Buckeye stories from the past week. The pair discusses the awards potential for Dwayne Haskins and Ryan Day, the single-season passing record that will likely fall against Michigan State, and the impressive season-opening win for the men’s basketball team over Cincinnati.

Matt and Alexis also talk about the emergence of Brendon White, and how him securing a starting spot at safety will impact the Ohio State secondary. They also chat about the announcement that Buckeye forward Micah Potter will transfer to continue his basketball career elsewhere. and the fact that this change appears to have had little impact on Chris Holtmann’s team, or Potter’s own little brother, Noah.

The No. 10 Ohio State Buckeyes will visit the No. 18 Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing, Mich., on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 12 noon ET in a game broadcast on FOX.
