Following a 10-day layoff to give the players time to focus on their finals, the Ohio State men’s basketball team was back in action on Saturday, and held off a surging Bucknell Bison squad to get the victory 73-71. Thanks to that performance, the Ohio State Buckeyes remain No. 15 in the latest AP poll.
The top five this week are No. 1 Kansas, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Tennessee, No. 4 Michigan, and No. 5 Virginia. Big Ten teams joining OSU and Michigan in the rankings are No. 10 Michigan State, No. 16 Wisconsin, No. 22 Indiana, No. 23 Iowa, and No. 25 Nebraska. Maryland, Purdue, and Minnesota are also receiving votes.
The Buckeyes will be back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. ET against the Youngstown State Penguins. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network, and we’ll have you covered before, during, and after the game.
After playing UCLA and High Point to close out the calendar year, OSU will open the 2019 portion of its B1G schedule by taking on MSU on Jan. 5.
