Tomorrow, the Ohio State Buckeyes will take to the field in the Rose Bowl for the first time since 2010. Despite OSU’s long and proud history in the Granddaddy of Them All, and Urban Meyer’s legendary career as a college football head coach, tomorrow’s game against the Washington Huskies will be Meyer’s first Rose Bowl; and it comes in his final game at the helm of his beloved Buckeyes.

As only they can, the Ohio State football video team put together yet another stirring and motivating hype video, focusing on the importance of the Rose Bowl to Meyer, the Buckeye players, and the Ohio State program.

The video makes clear that the Rose Bowl is important to every aspect of Buckeye Nation with the words, “For the people. For the tradition. For the excellence. Through all the thorns, we smell the roses.”

The No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the No. 9 Washington Huskies on Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 5 p.m. ET. The Granddaddy of Them All will be broadcast on ESPN, and Land-Grant Holy Land will bring you all of the coverage you need before, during, and after the game.
