Ohio State has busy weekend on the recruiting trail

Urban Meyer and the Ohio State football squad might’ve started the weekend off by landing a verbal pledge from 2019 three-star tight end Cormontae Hamilton, but that doesn’t mean they took the rest of it off celebrating.

In what was one of the busiest recruiting weekends in recent weeks, the Buckeyes were hard at work playing host and dishing out offers to numerous underclassmen over the last few days.

Buckeyes host standout prospects

While you were probably stuck with hosting your in-laws over the weekend, the Buckeyes had a long list of high school talent in Columbus.

Busy showing potential Buckeyes what it would be like to be an OSU student athlete on and off of the football field, many of the recruits on hand took to their Twitter pages to share with the world how their trip to the Ohio State campus and time with Urban Meyer and company went.

• Four-star 2020 running back Noah Cain is down to six college programs. Earning over 25 scholarships during the process, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, Penn State, and Auburn will fight it out for the IMG Academy (FL) product.
