Leading into the first game of the 2018 season, the Ohio State Buckeyes continued the tradition of visiting the marching band’s Skull Session at St. John Arena about an hour and a half before kickoff.

In his first game as the interim head coach, Ryan Day addressed the crowd, along with senior captain offensive lineman Isaiah Prince and new co-defensive coordinator Alex Grinch.

Despite coming from the staff at Washington State, Grinch is a native-Ohioan, growing up in Grove City. In his speech to the crowd, Grinch said that while he hasn’t been to a Skull Session in 25 years, The Best Damn Band in the Land still looks pretty good.

Welcome back to Columbus, Coach Grinch.

Buckeyes will host the Oregon State Beavers at noon ET at The Horseshoe. The game will be broadcast on ABC, and Land-Grant Holy Land will have you covered before, during, and after the game.
