The Ohio State Buckeyes are getting their first taste of Big Ten action on Saturday, when they play host to Chris Ash’s Rutgers Scarlet Knights at 3:30 p.m. ET (on BTN).
If you’re making your way to Ohio Stadium on Saturday, come prepared to get wet.
The forecast is calling for the leftover storms from Hurricane Gordon to reach Columbus in the afternoon and linger through Sunday. It might be wet, but at least it won’t be scorching hot, with the temps expected to be in the high-60s, low-70s for most of the day.
After a week of extreme heat in central Ohio, the cool down will be a welcome change, but if the rain could hold off until after the game, that would be ideal — but it’s not likely.

If anything, it should be good for some of the young guys — including Dwayne Haskins — to get experience in different weather environments early on in the season.
