After Wisconsin’s unexpected loss to Illinois, it’s hard to get a read Saturday’s game with Ohio State. Are they the team that steamrolled through most of their first six games, or the group that made countless fourth quarter mistakes against the Illini, while giving up big plays at the wrong time? As always, the answer is probably somewhere in the middle —and leaning toward the former— but it’s hard not to be a little less excited about this game after what we saw in Champaign. Either way, Wisconsin is still presents the biggest challenge for Ohio State so far, and if recent history —except that one time— is any indication, Saturday’s going to be another slugfest.
On this episode of the Hangout in the Holy Land, Tyler Hunt of Bucky’s Fifth Quarter joins the show to talk about all things Wisconsin, including:
- What went wrong for them against Illinois, and how much we can take from that game?
- The development of first-year starting quarterback Jack Coan, and whether he’s capable of throwing the Badgers to a win?
- How Wisconsin’s tough defense matches up with the Ohio State offense?
- The areas he expects the Badgers to have success in on Saturday, and more!
