Apparently the weather is going to be less than ideal in Ohio Stadium when the third-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes host the No. 13 Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, but on Friday morning, we learned that the roster would be a bit less than ideal as well.

According to this week’s depth chart and availability report, starting defensive end Jonathon Cooper — who missed the first four games of the season — will be a game-time decision, as will senior wide receiver Austin Mack and sophomore linebacker Teradja Mitchell.

In the event that Cooper doesn’t play, Tyreke Smith will start in his place. On the other side of the ball, if Mack is unable to go, Chris Olave will start in his place, as he is currently listed as the co-starter at the Z receiver position.

The defensive line has been especially beat up through out the season, as seemingly at least a pair of players on the two-deep are out or questionable going into each game. Joining Cooper this week will be fellow DE Tyler Friday, who has officially been ruled out.

However, both linebacker Baron Browning and starting offensive tackle Thayer Munford have been cleared to play. Browning missed last week’s game against Northwestern, while Munford played in spot duty to spell Nicholas Petit-Frere, who was making his first career start.

Other players ruled out for the game against the Badgers are offensive tackle Joshua Alabi, wide receiver Kamryn Babb, defensive tackle Noah Donald, wide receiver Elijah Gardiner, tight end Cormontae Hamilton, safety Ronnie Hickman, defensive end Noah Potter, H-back C.J. Saunders, and defensive tackle Taron Vincent.
