Urban Meyer breaks down what makes Chase Young such a dominant pass rusher

Nobody does it better than Chase or Urban.

NCAA Football: Florida Atlantic at Ohio State Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

On the field at Ohio Stadium ahead of the Big Noon Saturday game between the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 13 Wisconsin Badgers, Urban Meyer — along with Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, Matt Lienart, and Rob Stone — down what it takes to be a successful pass rusher, while using the video and technique of the Buckeyes’ dominant defensive end Chase Young.

In front of the south end zone in The Horseshoe, Meyer coaches his colleagues through the mechanics of what he says is going to make Young a $30 million NFL star. In the package, Meyer also mentioned that Ohio State’s Larry Johnson is perhaps the best defensive line coach in the history of the game.

Lienart and Quinn discussed how a terrifying pass rusher like Young can impact how a quarterback goes through his progressions when he drops back to pass.

There is no one breaking down college football like Urban and company.
