It might be a bye week, but things are certainly BOOMing for the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes as they received a major commitment on Thursday from four-star, 2021 wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the son of former NFL Hall of Famer... Marvin Harrison.
Harrison Jr. is the 54th-ranked national recruit in the 2021 cycle and eighth wide receiver over all. At 6-foot-4, 184 pounds, he brings great size and speed to his game, while having the technical ability that few do coming out of high school.
Brian Hartline led the recruiting for the WR who also held offers from LSU, Michigan, Penn State, Texas A&M, and others. Harrison joins his high school quarterback Kyle McCord in the Buckeyes’ 2021 class and is the sixth player committed to OSU in the cycle, and the fifth in the top 100 of 247Sports Composite Rankings. That haul is good for the top spot in the Big Ten and fourth nationally.
Harrison joins defensive end Jack Sawyer, McCord, offensive tackle Ben Cristman, receiver Jayden Ballard, and linebacker Reid Carrico, and with the way that Hartline and head coach Ryan Day have had the offense and WRs looking, there were certainly be more high profile names added in the coming year.
Welcome to Buckeye Nation!
