At least 25 Ohio State players will play their final game in Ohio Stadium today

In addition to those 25 seniors, a number of juniors could be playing their final home game today as well.

As the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes take to the field at 12 noon ET against the No. 8 Penn State Nittany Lions, it will be the final time that the OSU seniors — and some juniors — will be playing inside Ohio Stadium.

There are 25 members of the official 2019 Ohio State senior class and coming into today’s game, they have a 46-5 record, including a 24-3 mark in the Big Ten. The group is two-time defending Big Ten champions, and have won a Cotton Bowl and a Rose Bowl.

The major contributors who will be taking the field at The Horseshoe for the final time today include Austin Mack, Binjimen Victor, Branden Bowen, Damon Arnette, Jordan Fuller, K.J Hill, Malik Harrison, Robert Landers, and more.

Justin Hilliard would also be on this list, but he recently applied for a sixth year of eligibility to extend his career due to injuries.

Check out the complete list of the 2019 Ohio State senior class:

While we know that those 25 players won’t suit up in The ‘Shoe again, there are a number of third-year players who could be playing their last home game as well. Top-line stars like Chase Young, J.K. Dobbins, and Jeff Okudah are expected to declare for the NFL Draft following this season, and there are a few others that could entertain that option as well, including potentially redshirt-junior Shaun Wade.

While I wouldn’t expect anyone else to forgo their final season(s) in Columbus, it’s probably worth looking at who else might be facing a decision in two months’ time.
