As rivalry week kicks into gear, on Tuesday night the latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings were announced on ESPN. After knocking off the then-No. 8 team in the country — the Penn State Nittany Lions — the Ohio State Buckeyes jumped back up to the top-spot in the poll, moving the No. 1 LSU Tigers back to the second spot.

The defending national champion Clemson Tigers stayed in third place, and the Georgia Bulldogs are again in fourth. LSU and UGA are destined to face off in the SEC Championship game two Saturdays from now.

The third SEC team in the rankings, the Alabama Crimson Tide slots in to fifth with the Pac-12’s Utah in sixth.

The Buckeyes’ next opponent the Michigan Wolverines comes in at No. 13, and the two potential Big Ten Championship game opponents for OSU, Wisconsin and Minnesota are ranked at 12 and 8 respectively. Penn State fell to No. 10 following Saturday’s loss.
